Teak Lady Society

The Teak Lady Society was formed as an auxiliary of the Toledo Community Boathouse with the goal of preserving, restoring and maintaining the Port’s three Teak Ladies. Its members are community members, volunteers, shipwrights, and mariners that are passionate about providing the public with opportunities to appreciate the beauty of these antique, wooden, sloops.

These vessels can be viewed at the Port’s Marina, moored alongside the boathouse. During organized work parties visitors are invited to meet with the talented local artisans, and can even participate in some maintenance tasks.
