Our History

The Port of Toledo, Oregon was established in 1910 in order to develop marine commerce.  The original Commission's first goal was to establish a 14' deep channel from the Yaquina Bay to Depot Slough to support the movement of wood products.

​In 1977 Elmer Price authored History Port of Toledo to document the Port's first 67 years.​
