Notice of Budget Committee Meeting, May 23, 2017

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Port of Toledo, Lincoln County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017, will be held at the Port Office at 496 NE Hwy 20, Unit 1, Toledo.  The meeting will take place on May 23, 2017 at 6:00 pm.  The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.  This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.  Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.  A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 19, 2017 at the Port Office, between the hours of 8:30 am and 5 pm.


Election for Special District Directors on May 16, 2017

The Port of Toledo has two Commissioner positions expiring this year, positions  numbers one and three. These positions are for four year terms, commencing July 1 this year through June 30, 2021.

Port Commissioners attend regularly scheduled meetings on a monthly basis with occasional special meetings when necessary.  It is necessary to be a Port District elector (resident) to run for the Commissioner positions.
